Fire Marshal Training
Fire Marshal training is in line with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
You should take the Fire Awareness course before doing the Fire Marshal Training. To do the Fire Marshal and Fire Awareness training together, please see our Fire Safety Level 2 course.
Training should be taken by anyone who may be required to undertake responsibility as a Fire Warden or Marshal.
You should take the Fire Awareness training course before attending this course or alternatively, you can attend a Fire Safety Level 2 course which covers both.
Fire Marshal training covers the following:
- calling the fire service
- conducting a fire drill
- fire doors
- fire equipment
- fire prevention advice and fire safety legislations
- good housekeeping
- investigating a fire alarm
- risk assessing and precautions
- smoke alarms
- the fire triangle
- the law
- training requirements
- using a fire extinguisher
We use an audio and visual presentation with handouts. Training can count towards your CPD and you will be issued with a course certificate after the successful completion of your training.
